Market Rasen 22/04/18 16.30

Wolf Sword makes his debut as a trend for me today, he also debut’s at the track…

Went straight into the pro ranks at the latter end of 2013, landing a class 6 bumper 2nd time out..

He ran a few decent races over hurdles before being allocated an opening mark of 111 in that sphere, before switching to fences in the latter end of 2015,racing off an allocated 117, he plied his trade as a class 4 reg and went 0/9 before picking up his 1st chase of a mark off 110..

After that they decided to up the ante with him as a class 3 reg, and he performed with credit in that grade since picking up races of marks off 120 and 123, he races off 121 today, so 2lbs below lwm…

My main concern today is the trip, as he never raced this far, in general he runs around 20-21 furlongs, today he sees 23 furlongs…

His last race was over 2 miles and a carbon copy of 2017, as he had won that race last year, so today’s race is a slight change of plan v 2017 layout for him…

Is not especially well treated but this a mark that mirrors his ability, and has proved he can well well around this rating…

Tough race, very few easy spots in racing, especially if trying to find good enough odds to keep your head above water, but its a decent trend as such in a numbering sense, without him actually running as a qualifying trend before, however that does not matter too much, as he does not know he is a trend today 🙂

Good luck
