Medvedev D. v Sinner J.

Medvedev is not playing great after the AO, Sinner is a great indoor player, there is a lot value on him. Should see a very close match, with Sinner even capable of winning it.

Bautista-Agut R. v Rublev A.

The last 2 winners of the Doha tournament are meeting in the semis. Rublev did not play any match here, taking advantage of a Bye and 2 Walkovers from Gasquet and Fucsovics. We have a bit of a gamble here, as we did not see Rublev playing here, but RBA is playing great, with wins over Opelka, Bublik and Thiem.  Lastly, RBA leads 2-0 on hard outdoor direct meetings, so we see a bit of value on the spaniard.

Basilashvili N. v Federer R.

After one year break due to injury, Federer is back in action in Doha. Yesterday he won 2-1 after 2 hours and 20 minutes of play against Daniel Evans. His level was quite good, but given his 39 years old and the long absence, we have doubts he will be able to keep the level 2 days in a row. Basilashvili is not in his best form, therefore the big odds, but some value lies in there, if he can raise the level he can put up a fight. No big stakes involved, just a bit of a gamble against “the king”. read more
